Cyclo-buses - general information
Do you want to make sure that you won't be stuck at a bus stop because your bike won't fit on the cyclo-bus? Than make a reservation for your bike. And how to do that? Just buy a ticket for the desired connection in the mobile application Virtuální karta and check the box "Add a bike" during the purchase. You will simultaneously buy a ticket for yourself, your bike and also make a free of charge reservation for your bike.

Download the app and register.Then you can start purchasing single tickets to travel in the Pilsen or Pilsen Region. Payments can be made via Apple Pay or online via your bank card. GooglePay will also be enabled from mid-April 2023.

Bus lines allowing the transport of bicycles are marked with a pictogram (
) and a restriction sign.
- Bicycles and e-bikes are transported only if their technical design, dimensions and weight allow it. Only those e-bikes that have a removable battery that is not placed on the bike during transport are transported.
- Bicycles with an auxiliary gasoline drive, etc., scooters and tandem bicycles are not transported.
- Before loading the bicycle onto the external carrier of the bus or onto the bus trailer, the passenger is obliged to remove easily removable or heavy parts from the bike, such as a bag, lamp, cycle computer, inflator, drink bottle, in the case of transporting an electric bicycle, its battery, etc.
- The authorized person of the Transporter makes the final decision on the acceptance of the bicycle for transport and at the same time ensures the safe attachment of the bicycle.
The passenger is obliged to assist when loading the bike. If the carrier uses a bicycle marking system for receiving and issuing them as travel luggage (i.e. for transport on trailers, racks and ski boxes), the passenger is obliged to follow the instructions of the carrier's authorized person, e.g. when taking the bike for transport, take a tag with a number the hook on which the bike was placed, and hand back the tag with the number when it is issued.
Bus trailers for 22 bikes are operated on bus lines 423, 462 (chosen connections), 972, 974, 975, 979 and 981. Other cyclo-buses have an external bike carrier for 5 bikes.
