Cyclo-buses - general information
Do you want to make sure you won't be left behind at the bus stop because your bike won't fit on the cyclobus? Then make a bike reservation in advance!
How to make a reservation:

Open the Virtual Pilsen Card mobile app and select your desired connection.

Check the "Add a bike" box during the purchase.
This will automatically buy a ticket for you and your bike while reserving a bike spot free of charge.

Download the app and register to start buying single tickets for public transport in Pilsen and the Pilsen Region. Payments can be made via Apple Pay, Google Pay, or online payment card.

Bus lines allowing the transport of bicycles are marked with a pictogram (
) and a restriction sign.
Bus lines that allow bicycle transport are marked with a bicycle pictogram and a restriction note in the timetable. Transport Conditions for Bicycles and E-bikes Bicycles and e-bikes are accepted for transport only if their technical design, dimensions, and weight permit it.
E-bikes are transported only if they have a removable battery, which must be detached and carried by the passenger during transport. Motorized bikes (e.g., with auxiliary gasoline engines), e-scooters, kick scooters, and tandem bicycles are strictly prohibited. Loading and Inspection
The driver or authorized transport staff member makes the final decision on whether a bicycle is accepted for transport and ensures it is safely secured. Passengers are required to assist during the loading and unloading process. If a tagging system is used (e.g., on bicycle trailers or racks), passengers must follow the staff's instructions — such as taking a numbered claim tag corresponding to their bike's slot and returning it upon retrieval.
Bus trailers for 22 bikes are operated on bus lines 423, 462 (chosen connections), 972, 974, 975, 979 and 981. Other cyclo-buses have an external bike carrier for 5 bikes.
